Clean ceiling perimeters, with both GAGE snap-in and lay-in coffered ceiling profiles, or lay-in tegular profiles, can be quickly accomplished by the installing contractor by ordering flat profiles of the same design and field-cutting them to a gap-free tolerance along the ceiling perimeter.
For straight perimeters, field-cut panels are held secure and flat by the use of C-channel perimeter trim and hold down springs.
For curved perimeters field-cut panels are held secure by using overlapping flex moldings.
Photo above shows GAGE decorative metal ceiling tiles with a flat profile in Standard design #309C — along a curved perimeter.
